Summer Picnic of Detroit Lodge No. 7

The lodge's summer picnic with some 30 persons in attendance was held at the North Channel Yacht Club on Tuesday, August 7, 2018,
Lodge members John Mantyk and Bill Calihan, who are members of the yacht club, served as hosts for the picnic.  John Mantyk is President
of Detroit Lodge No. 7 and Bill Calihan is currently serving as Rear Commodore at the yacht club. 

The club's "Finrunner" shuttled the lodge members and guests back and forth from the mainland to the yacht club.  After being given a tour of the yacht club and the beautifully landscaped grounds, the guests sat down for a luncheon, with a choice of prime angus beef steak or salmon.  The afternoon weather was perfect.
